Ooooo boy. I have some explaining to do don't I? Well, here it is, be prepared for a wall of text:

First off, I'm back. This time around I'm... different. This past year I've done a lot of soul searching and came to a conclusion: Spriting and making comics are as a part of me as the hands I use to make them. As cheesy as it sounds, it's true. I reintroduced myself to reading Marvel comics, something I loved back in the day when I was a kid. Such comics like Spider-Man brought me back to those golden years, cheering me up more than anything has since I fell into depression during high school. There were points in the comics I've read where I broke into tears, shouted at the top of my lungs "No, NO! I know who you are and just NO!". Those points reminded me why I got into making comics in the first place: To give my readers those kinds of feelings through the stories I write.

If any of you were paying attention to my posts in the forum when I was active last year, I moved out of my house and went to college. Well, all of that failed sadly. I dropped out of college and moved back in with my parents. I just wasn't ready, but being out on my own with people closer to my age taught me a lot about myself. One of the most important things is my love for comics. I bought a copy of The Amazing Spider-Man while I was there, a combination of all the comics that revolved around the "Coming Home" storyline, where Peter Parker has to face the unstoppable force that wants to feed on his essence Morlun. From there I began to collect the rest of The Amazing Spider-Man comics, from The Amazing to The Spectacular, from The Avenging to The Superior. All of which, including The Runaways and The Uncanny X-Men, rejuvenated me in so many ways.

I might keep working on Alexander and Lucas: Rebooted!, I never planned on it but it's a possibility. I want to focus more on Black Sheep however, it contains new characters and a new story that I am really pleased with. It's going to challenge me more than anything I've done in recent years when it comes to comics and that excites me. I think I've needed such a challenge. I got tired of working with the same characters over and over, trying to reinvent a wheel that was old and rusty years ago. With new characters and a new story, I hope that keeps me interested in making comics and maybe finally complete a series.

So what is Black Sheep?
Well, originally I wanted to call it The Outsiders, but GhostHands reminded me of a novel with that same name (which just so happens to be one of my favourites) and so I changed the name to Black Sheep. It's still a fitting name I find for the story I have planned.

"Abigail Hayden is a teenage girl who was orphaned at the age of 5 due to a fire that took the life of her parents and giving her a scar across her face that has become a focal point for her fellow orphans to pick on her.
Beginning her first year of high school she quickly befriends the likes of Chase Marlowe, Maximilian Rogers and Catherine Himura, kids who like her are bullied for being different. However, the four of them quickly learn that they are much more different than what they thought."

So basically, I'm back and I'm sorry for just dropping out of existence like that. I bet that most of you thought I left because of the troll/hater who commented on recent comics, but really I just left because I moved out and was attending college for that short time. I lost interest in Alexander and Lucas: Rebooted! while I was out there. His comments actually amused me, especially the one on Comic 81. I've been the subject of far worse hatred for spriting, so his comments didn't even scratch the surface.

'Til the next comic! ;)
